I had a wonderful time while I was in grad school at the University of Arkansas.  I had a chance to meet some really wonderful people and work with some really awesome professors.  I also had a chance to be really active in Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociological Honor Society, as the president for the 2000-2001 year.  Here are some of the highlights.

In the department, we took every chance we had to celebrate.  This is from Dr. Anna Zajicek's Birthday.

Then, at Gary Perry's Birthday party.  We had dinner together at the Ozark Brew Pub and then went to some different bars.  Gary even wore a hat (although it's not pictured here) for most of the evening.
At Brent Young's (middle) Birthday Party...Bo Nalley and Brent.  Bo is wearing his signature red shirt. This was before Brent broke out his Bubba teeth.  Yeah!

This is Dr. Lori Holyfield at our February meeting.  Lori talked about her recent book.

We especially had a lot of fun in our shared office space in the basement of Old Main.  It was a great place to study, relax and work.  I spent many, many hours there finishing up my thesis.  Here, Brent Young and Robyn White are hanging out.
